Just an update that we STILL have no power, but hope to in the next day or so. We've seen work crews around our town finally. EJ had school today, which is a good sign since most of the town must have power for that to happen, right?
We're also still without as are many others we have talked to or heard about. The good news? Our comcast line is up, so we have cable, internet and phones. Hope they have a lot of crews out there tonight before the snow flies tomorrow! Forget Black Friday, this has been Black December!!!
Hey it's me again. Thank goodness for my Blackberry! Still no pwr. I hit my limit today and called the power company twice to express my "concerns". They said we are on a problem circuit and will be working thru the night and are hopeful for tomorrow (Sunday). My biggest complaint was that, on Thurs, the website said we would be up by Fri and then on Fri, they changed it to Sun. And the website also says that there are only 8 homes out in my town. Power is all around us but our neighborhood alone has 40 houses that are out. They admitted that was a mistake as there are 2200 homes on our circuit. Stay tuned. And so begins day 10 with no power.
