Today's squares

Two squares arrived in the mail today. The first is from the C family in MA, fellow members of FLC. Mom S and Dad M have two adorable kids, Z and A. They have a Scottie and an Airedale terrier, so this fabric suits them fine. Apparently, this fabric was selected for a quilt S made for Z!

The second square is from a high school best friend, R.S. I couldn't even tell you the last time I was R...it's been WAY too long, but nearly every memory from high school contains R in some way, as she and I and SP (from a previous post) could be found together most of the time. Thank you so much for sending this, and I promise that the next time I make it to PA, we'll try to get together.
