A trip to The Nutcracker

Santa rocks. This year, he left three tickets to The Nutcracker in Boston under the tree for EJ, Grandma H and I. AND, there were also Nutcracker sweaters for EJ and I to wear! And Santa did really well at picking out the seats...three seats right in the center of the center section IN THE 4TH ROW!

We left early and decided to have lunch in Boston. We went to Jacob Wirth's in the theater district. We HIGHLY recommend it. The food was great, and the atmosphere was terrific - it's an old pub-style restaurant and bar. Here are a few shots from lunch:
Then, we walked to the Opera House. This year, I was ready with the camera since I remembered from a few years ago that some of the characters are usually in the lobby. First, we met up with one of the mice:
Then, we found the teddy bear:
And then EJ wanted her photo taken on the balcony overlooking the lobby:
